Transaction Parameters Overview

The transaction parameters are group by the related transaction or object. It is sort by alphabet in the dropdown selection. User can change the settings based on the three categories below:

  1. System parameter: General control for different type of transactions and the system.
  2. Inventory related: Controls for the transactions related with inventory module.
  3. Production related: Controls for the transactions related with production module.

Parameters Description

The table below lists down all the Object’s corresponding parameters in Transaction Parameters under Administration module which you can change to suit your business needs. Upon changing, click the Save button to save the settings. Download the Transaction Parameter Configurator attachement from the bottom of this page to help you configuring your system.

Allocation

Enable allocation update

If checked, it allows users to update the allocation lines.

Scenario:

Axaucte performs auto-allocation based on the rules assigned to each item (FIFO, FEFO, Lot or Location). If the parameter is checked, users can edit the allocation by choosing another Lot rather than the one that is allocated by system. 

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse when generate allocation.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting. 

CO Return

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Disable new item location creation

If checked, it will not allow users to create a new item location for the return.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when you would like to control the number of Locations in the system and do not want your end users to have the authority to create a new Location.

CO Picking

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Default packing location

Optional. Default warehouse and location ID for packing (Pick into location)

Scenario:

You can set a Default packing location to reduce the amount of time you are required to enter the Location information.
 Note : this is useful if you have a dedicated Packing Location in your Warehouse and is very less likely to change the Location.

Disable lot number selection

If checked, it will not allow users to change the lot number auto defined by system for the transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when you would like to enforce strict control on the inventory issuance rules (FIFO, FEFO, Lot, Location).
 Note : users will not be able to change the auto-allocated Location and Lot for the Item.

Print label

If checked, system will show the label generation page for the user after the transaction.

CO Shipping

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Default Ship ByAllows users to choose between setting the 'Ship by' as either default to Customer or Customer Order in the CO Shipping form.

Print label

If checked, system will show the label generation page for the user after the transaction.

Enable Partial Shipping WarningAllows users to toggle a warning within the CO Shipping. When enabled, this feature will trigger a warning notification whenever a partial shipment is initiated for an order.
Allow Over Ship
If checked, users are allowed to make shipments that exceed the originally ordered quantity

Inventory Count

Measure of Count Variance

Allow user to select the inventory count variance to be show in Percentage or in Unit.

Inventory Label

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

CO Shipping Label

Job Material Issue Label

Job Receipt Label

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Inventory Label

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Job Inquiry

Job Due Indicator (hours remaining)

Allow user to define the when the job will show near due date alert based on number of hours remaining before the job due date. The mobile Job Inquiry will use different color to indicate the urgency of the job:

  • Green color indicates the job due date is still far away
  • Orange color indicates the job is remain x hour(s) from the due date (Job Due Indicator hours remaining)
  • Red color indicates the job missed its due date

Qty Scrapped Indicator (Lower Limit %)

Allow user to define the lower limit percentage for the qty scrapped indicator.

Qty Scrapped Indicator (Upper Limit %)

Allow user to define the higher limit percentage for the qty scrapped indicator.

Job Labor Hours

Allow users to close job (mobile)

Allows users to change the job status to Closed.

Note: You cannot do further transaction for a closed Job Order unless you change the status back to Released.

Allow users to complete operations (mobile)

Allows users to change the operation status to Complete.

Note: You cannot do further transaction for a completed Operation unless you change the status back to Active.

Allow users to receive item into stock

Allows users to receive item into Stock.

Allow employee to run multiple job orders

Allows employees to start multiple jobs without ending one beforehand.

Scenario:

Check this parameter if your employees are handling more than one work center and job at the same time.

Allow over complete

If checked, employee allow to complete more than quantity balance in job order.

Allow over scrap

If checked, employee allow to have quantity scrap more than quantity balance in job order.

Disable new item location creation

If checked, it will not allow users to create a new item location for the job receipt.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when you would like to enforce strict control on the inventory issuance rules (FIFO, FEFO, Lot, Location).
Note : users will not be able to change the auto-allocated Location and Lot for the Item.

Batch Job Material Issue


Enable warehouse selection


If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Default Warehouse for the user in the User setting.


Default issue location

Predetermined location within a warehouse from which materials will be issued when a batch job is executed  


Scenario:

This is typically used in situations where materials need to be issued from a specific warehouse or storage location for a specific task or production batch.


Job Material Issue

Allow over issue

Allow materials over issuance to Job Orders.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your process often requires a need to consume more raw materials than what is scheduled due to different factors such as wastages, quality issue etc.

Job Material Return

If checked, system will show the label generation page for the user after the transaction.

Job Receipt

Allow over receive

If checked, quantity receive from production can exceed the quantity released in the job order.

Allow job receipt without complete quantity

If checked, receives complete production when the last operation has not completed any.

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Machine Run Hours

Allow users to close job (mobile)

If checked, employee can close the job order in the last operation.

Note: You cannot do further transaction for a closed Job Order unless you change the status back to Released.

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Check this parameter when you would like to control the number of Locations in the system and do not want your end users to have the authority to create a new Location.

Pallet

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse for following transaction:

  • Pallet Builder
  • Pallet Letdown
  • Pallet Destruction
  • Pallet Transfer


Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.


Auto delete Pallet when it is empty

 Checkbox. Default unchecked

 If checked, system will auto delete the Pallet if it is empty

 If unchecked, system will not delete the Pallet although it is empty

Default Pallet Transaction

User can set more than one transaction to use Pallet as default transaction.

Picklist

Allow partial pick

If checked, when the labor doing the picking, the quantity to pick can be less than the quantity required.

Default packing location

Optional. Default warehouse and location ID for packing (Pick into location)

Note: You can set a Default packing location to reduce the amount of time you are required to enter the Location information. This is useful if you have a dedicated Packing Location in your Warehouse and is very less likely to change the Location.

Required item confirmation

If checked, picker need to scan the item to confirm it is the right item to pick.

Scenario:

Check this parameter if you think that Item validation is essential to prevent the users from picking the wrong Item.

Required location confirmation

If checked, picker need to scan the location to confirm it is the right location to pick.

Scenario:

Check this parameter if you think that Location validation is essential to prevent the users from picking the Item from the wrong Location.

Allow change location

If checked, picker is allowed to change the location where the item picks from. (Only available if required location confirmation is checked )

Scenario:

Check this parameter if there is a certain degree of difficulty to enforce your users to pick from the required Location and instead, they can perform picking from another Location as long as the same Item is available for picking in that Location.

Required lot confirmation

If checked, picker need to scan the lot to confirm it is the right lot to pick.

Scenario:

Check this parameter if you think that Lot validation is essential to prevent the users from picking the wrong Lot.

Allow change lot

If checked, picker is allowed to change the lot where the item picks from. (Only available if required location confirmation is checked )

Scenario:

Check this parameter if there is a certain degree of difficulty to enforce your users to pick from the required Lot and instead, they can perform picking from another Lot as long as the same Item is available.

Default due time

User defines the default due time for new generated pick list.

Print label

If checked, system will show the label generation page for the user after the transaction.

Pick and Ship

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

If checked, it will not allow users to change the lot number auto defined by system for the transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when you would like to enforce strict control on the inventory issuance rules (FIFO, FEFO, Lot, Location).

Allow Over Ship
If checked, users are allowed to make shipments that exceed the originally ordered quantity

PO Receipt

Allow over receive

If checked, quantity receive from vendors can exceed the quantity ordered in the purchase order.

Default receipt location

Preset location to receive incoming purchased goods.

Note: You can set a Default receiving location to reduce the amount of time you are required to enter the Location information.This is useful if you have a dedicated Incoming Location in your Warehouse and is very less likely to change the Location.

Auto close purchase order

If checked, Purchase Order line’s status will be set to completed when the quantity received equals or exceed the quantity ordered.

Scenario:

Complement this parameter together with the tolerance parameter to close the orders automatically.

System

Enable Multi Scan (Production) 

If checked, a dedicated Scan field at the top of relevant forms, enabling efficient QR code scanning for Job, Suffix or Operation. Scanned QR values automatically populate the corresponding fields within the WIP Module.

The QR code displayed on the Job Sheet will consist of a mix of the Job Number, Suffix, and Operation Number.

Enable Multi Scan (Inventory)
If checked, a dedicated Scan field at the top of relevant forms, enabling efficient QR code scanning for Warehouse, Item, Lot, or Location. Scanned QR values automatically populate the corresponding fields within the Warehouse, Incoming, and Outgoing Modules.

Allow expired item


If checked, item can be issue even it has already expired.

Scenario:

If unchecked, system will prohibit users from issuing or shipping an expired Item. If checked, system will prompt a warning message for users to make confirmation before the transaction.


Autoclose tolerance %(+ -)

User can define the tolerance plus minus for each order type. The value will use for new generated order and will use to auto close the order.

Integration

If checked, system will connect with the third-party system via API. System settings and transaction forms will change to cater for the integration.

Lot Item Default Issue By

User can select the Issue By rule to set as the default option when create new Lot Item.

Number Format

Control the number of decimal places to display for:

Unit Quantity: The transacted quantity for each transaction

Quantity Per: The quantity per for job material

Total Quantity: The total quantity in orders and reports

TO Shipping

Disable lot number selection

If checked, it will not allow users to change the lot number auto defined by system for the transaction.

Print label

If checked, system will show the label generation page for the user after the transaction.

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.

Allow Over Ship (By Unit)
If checked, it allows users are to perform TO Shipping by unit more than quantity required.

TO Receipt

Enable warehouse selection

If checked, it allows users to choose their warehouse during transaction.

Scenario:

Check this parameter when your users are often engaged in transaction involving more than 1 warehouse. If your users perform transactions in the same Warehouse all the time, turn this parameter off and set a Deafult Warehouse for the user in the User setting.
