TABLE OF CONTENTS



User can create and maintain the job orders in the system. The system provides function for user to add the job attachment in the job order, which is accessible by the shop floor employee. The Job Orders List contains the collection of all job orders used throughout the production floor. Job orders must be in this collection to be available from the drop-down list. The fields in the Job Order form are:

Job Order

A job order number uniquely identifies a job order

SuffixThe job order suffix number

Warehouse

Warehouse to receive the job

(Must exist in Warehouses master)

Item

Item that is being produced from the job order

(Must exist in Items master)

Description

Item description. This field is filled by the system

UOM

Job order item’s unit of measurement

(Must exist in UOMs master and UOM Conversions master if is not item’s base uom)

Job Date

Job order creation date

Start Date

Date to begin production

End Date

Target date of job completion

Notes

Remarks on the job order

Status

  • Open: Job is still not ready for execution
  • Released: Job is ready to execute or in process
  • Completed: Job order is closed

Notes:

  • Initial job order status, must be "Open".
  • "Released" status is not allowed without at least one job route

Customer Code

Identifies if the job order is to fulfill which customer

(Must exist in Customers master)

Customer Name

The name or description of the customer. This field is filled by the system

Qty Released

The quantity required to be produced

Qty Completed

Total quantity finished. This field is updated by the job receipt transaction in the mobile application

Qty Scrapped

Total quantity rejected. This field is updated by the job run transaction in the mobile application

Qty Returned

Total quantity returned to production. This field is updated by the job return transaction in the mobile application


Add New Job Order

Case: Adding a new Job Order record.

1. In the Job Orders List form, click Add button.

2. Fill in all required fields.

3. Click Save button to complete.

4. After adding a new job order, user can proceed to add the route by click on Add Job Route button.


Edit Job Order

Case: Editing existing Job Order.

1. In the Job Orders List form, click the Edit button of the job order to modify.

2. In the Edit Job Order form, update the fields you wish to change.

Notes: Job Order status is not allowed to change from Released to Open if there is any transactions recorded for the job.

3. Click Save button to complete the editing.


Delete Job Order

Case: Deleting Job Order.

1. In the Job Orders List form, tick the checkbox for the line you wish to delete.

2. Click on Delete button.

3. Click Yes button in confirm message to delete the job order. Otherwise, click Cancel button.


Add Job Order Attachment And Note

Case: Add attachment and note to Job Order.

1. In the Job Orders List form, click the Attachment button for the job order which needed to add attachment and note.

2. Otherwise, user can click the Job Order Number (highlighted in blue) which needed to add attachment and note.

3. In the View Job Order form, click on View Attachments button.

4. In the Attachment List form, click on Add Doc button.

5. Click on the Choose File button to select the file need to add. Click Add button if want to add more file.

6. Click on the Upload button to add the attachment.

7. If want to add notes to the job order, in the Attachment List form, click on Add Notes button.

8. Fill in the Subject and Content.

9. Click Save button to add note.



Delete Job Order Attachment And Note

Case: Delete attachment and note from Job Order.

1. In the Job Orders List form, click the Attachment button for the job order which needed to delete attachment and note.

2. Otherwise, user can click the Job Order Number (highlighted in blue) to delete attachment and note.

3. In the View Job Order form, click on View Attachments button.

4. In the Attachment List form, click on Delete button for the document or note that needed to delete.

5. Click Yes button in confirm message to delete the job order attachment. Otherwise, click Cancel button.


Case: Print job sheet of Job Order.

1. In the Job Orders List form, click the Job Order Number (highlighted in blue) which needed to print job sheet.

2. In the View Job Order form, click on Print button.

3. Job sheet generated. User can print out from the PDF.


Copy Job BOM To Item BOM

Case: Copy Job Order to create an item BOM.

1. In the Job Orders List form, click the Job Order Number (highlighted in purple) which needed to copy to BOM. Only job order with Released status can be copy.

2. In the View Job Order form, click on Copy Job BOM to Item BOM button.

3. In the Copy Job BOM To Item BOM form, user can create the Job BOM. To learn more, refer to ADD NEW BILL OF MATERIALS.


Import Data From Excel Template

1. In the Job Orders List form, click the Import button and select the Excel file to import.

2. Click on Import button.

3. Ensure the success message is displayed at the top. User can check the status and log file from the Background Task.
